At this time of year, farmers often need to use public roads to get from field to field in preparation for harvest season. During harvest season, they will also need to use public roads to transport their nutritious food to our communities.
Drivers may experience temporary delays on rural roads due to slow moving farm equipment. Motorists are reminded to be patient and cautious when sharing the road with these vehicles.

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region residents and invited to browse antique cars and shop local vendors at the upcoming Spring Community Vendor Sale and Antique Car Show, hosted by Fairview Lodge Long-Term Care Home.

Whitby, Ontario – A little space makes a big difference. The Region of Durham reminds drivers to leave at least one metre of space when passing or travelling alongside people on bicycles to improve safety for everyone using the road. Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is advising residents of upcoming lane restrictions on Regional Highway 2 in the Municipality of Clarington’s community of Courtice.
When: Day and night from June 15 to July 31. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.
