Road closure on Courtice Road in Courtice

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region is advising residents of an ongoing road closure on Courtice Road (Regional Road 34) in the Municipality of Clarington’s community of Courtice.  

When: Ongoing day and night until July 3. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.  

Where: Courtice Road from Bloor Street (Regional Road 22) to 585 metres north of Baseline Road West in Courtice.  

Why: For the safe installation of a sanitary sewer in support of new development.

Water service interruption in Ajax

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is advising residents of a water service interruption in the Town of Ajax.

Where: The water service interruption will be on Kingston Road East (Regional Highway 2), from Harwood Avenue (Regional Road 44) to Trott Lane, in Ajax.

When: From May 11 at approximately 5 p.m. to May 12 at approximately 8 a.m.

Why: A final water connection is required to service a new watermain along Kingston Road. To safely complete the work, a temporary shutdown of the water supply...

Have your say on the proposed roundabout in Uxbridge

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is proposing to construct a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of Brock Road (Regional Road 1) and Goodwood Road (Regional Road 21) in the Township of Uxbridge.
