Whitby, Ontario – Today, Durham Regional Council voted to declare a climate emergency and accelerate action towards a low-carbon, climate-resilient region. This declaration recognizes environmental sustainability and climate change as strategic priorities in Durham Region’s Strategic Plan and as a factor in the decisions of Regional Council.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of lane restrictions on Olive Avenue (Regional Road 59) in the City of Oshawa.
When: January 28 to 31. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of a road closure on Old Orchard Avenue in the City of Pickering.
