Whitby, Ontario – The Waste Management Centre in Whitby has new operational hours for blue box and green bin sales/exchanges, effective immediately.
What:
Hours of operation
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
When: Effective immediately.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham has been advised by the Provincial Emergency Operations Centre that the Emergency Alert issued this morning regarding the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station was sent in error. There is no danger to the public or the environment.
Please do not call 9-1-1 for updates.
