Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions at the intersection of Simcoe Street South (Regional Road 2) and Wentworth Street East (Regional Road 60) in the City of Oshawa.
When: October 12 to 19 (daytime only). Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: The intersection of Simcoe Street South and Wentworth Street East in Oshawa.
Why: To safely complete construction work to support a new development.

New support hub in Cannington for residents in need

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham has teamed up with community partners to open a support hub for local tenants, homeless residents and those at risk of homelessness in north Durham.
When: The hub will be open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome.
