Weight Restriction season on Regional roads begins February 26

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, would like to advise residents that the Region restricts the operation of motor vehicles on designated roads during the spring weight restriction season, as per the Highway Traffic Act. This affects vehicles that are heavier than 5,000 kilograms (i.e., five tonnes) per axle.
