Declarations of Interest
Members of Council and local boards are required to submit a Declaration of Interest form whenever they declare a pecuniary interest on an agenda item at a Committee, Council or local board meeting. Declarations of Interest are made under the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act.
Public Registry
The Region maintains a public registry of all declarations of interest filed by Members of Council and Members of the Region’s local boards.
The forms for 2026 are available for viewing below, along with the minutes from the meetings. The forms from previous years may be viewed further down the page.
If you believe a member of Council has not followed the law, you may contact the Region’s Integrity Commissioner who may choose to investigate the matter, or you may apply directly to the Superior Court of Justice for consideration by a judge.
