Services we provide
Talk to a nurse or nurse practitioner about your sexual health.
- Free condoms at clinic.
- Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing.
- Free STI treatment.
- Vaccinations for HPV, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Meningitis and Mpox (Imvamune®). The nurse will review your health history and eligibility for vaccines and if they are free for you.
- Birth control and Emergency Contraception Pill - PLAN B® (up to 30 years-old).
- Cervical cancer screening (HPV) for those 25 years-old and over with no OHIP.
- Urine pregnancy test and pregnancy options counseling.
- Information and referrals for PrEP: Medicine taken to prevent getting HIV.
Please note: Your family physician (GP), nurse practitioner (NP), walk-in medical clinic and University or College Health Services can provide STBBI (sexually transmitted blood borne infection) testing, pap tests and birth control. Our sexual health clinic does not provide faster results for STBBI testing than other providers.
Getting your test results
If you have been tested at one of our clinics, your results should be available within three to five days. We do not contact clients with negative test results and will only reach out if needed. If you do not hear from us, that means your results are negative and do not require follow-up. Please do not call the clinic for results.
Services we do not offer
Our sexual health clinics do not provide services for the conditions listed below. If you would like to be seen by a health professional for any of these services, please visit your primary care provider or a walk-in clinic. In the event of an emergency, please go to your nearest hospital emergency department.
- Treatment for urinary tract infections.
- Cold sores on the mouth.
- Menopause symptoms.
- Miscarriage aftercare.
- Infertility testing, treatment, and counselling.
- Relationship counselling.
- Prenatal care.
