Steps to Wellness Before and After Baby is a free virtual group for pregnant and new moms in Durham Region.
If you’ve been feeling sad, worried, angry, irritable, and/or overwhelmed, you're not alone.
This program is based on the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) model, which helps people understand how their thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected—and how to make positive changes.
Babies are welcome!
Who can join?
You may be able to join if:
- You live in Durham Region and are 18 years or older.
- You are pregnant or have a baby under 18 months old.
- You have a computer, tablet, or phone to join online.
How to join?
To see if this group is right for you, call Durham Health Connection Line at 1-800-841-2729 and speak with a public health nurse.
The nurse will ask you a few questions to check if you meet the requirements. If this group isn’t the best fit, they can help you find other programs or services that may work better for you.
