
Infant & Child Development Program
Durham Region’s Infant & Child Development (ICD) Program is a free home visiting program available to families who have concerns about their child’s development. Our program provides family coaching, resources, and strategies designed to support children between the ages of birth to school entry.
Our services
- Support your child’s development through informal and formal assessments.
- Provide adult coaching and modelling.
- Provide activity ideas to support your family's daily routine.
- Assist with accessing resources and community services.
- Occupational therapy consultation.

Family service planning |
At Infant & Child Development, service is driven by the family service plan (FSP) that we create together. This FSP lists the priorities you have for your child’s development and includes strategies that work within your family’s routine. The FSP priorities may change throughout service.
