Connecting to the sewer or water system

For properties requiring Regional services (i.e. water and sewer pipes) to be installed at the property line, the following instructions will assist you to connect your home to our sewer and/or water systems. These instructions are for existing and future homes.

Please have the following information available:

• The full address of the home.
• The owner's full names.
• A contact phone number or email address.

Connection fees

Some frontage fees and connections charges will apply. This information is found on the Region of Durham's Fees and Charges Schedule.
